NEW FEATURES
To make it easier to follow these step by step instructions, we suggest you print this out.
Email Sorting
If you are constantly moving a certain type of email to a certain folder, you can now have your CSSR-IM Mail account do it automatically for you. Using the Email Rules tool, just tell your account that email with certain words or phrases in the email address header, subject, or message should move to a folder of your choice. And you can set up as many of these filters as you like!
To use:
1. Click the Options button in the top bar, an envelope with a check mark.
2. Click on the Email Rules link. Using the
drop
down menu of your folders, select which folder you wish the email to automatically go to. Then specify which part of the email you'd like to search.
3. Finally, enter the words/phrases that would indicate the email should be moved to the specified folder. Click the Save Changes button and you're done!

To delete a forwarding address, check the Delete box and then click the Submit button.
Please note that Email Forwarding is automatically disabled if Spam Freeze is activated.
Spam Freeze
One of our favorite new features, Spam Freeze requires new senders to verify their identity as a real person. When Spam Freeze is turned on, any sender who has not previously emailed you since activation will receive a message with a link to a page on CSSR-IM Mail that will ask him or her to enter a number from an image. Once the number is successfully entered, the sender's message will be delivered and his or her email address will be added to your Spam Freeze safe list; this sender will never have
to enter
the number again (unless you remove them from your safe list). You can see an example of how this works by sending an e-mail to testspam@cssrim.com . Within 20 minutes or less you will receive an email reply challenging you to visit a verification site.
To use:
1. Click the Options button in the top bar, an envelope with a check mark.
2. Click the Spam Freeze Settings link.
3. To activate, check the Spam Freeze On box and click the Save Changes button. You may also enter the addresses, one email per line, of people you do not want to be challenged to enter a number. Make sure to click Save Changes every time you modify this list.
There are other ways to block Spam on CSSR-IM Mail. You can use the mail filters provided ,or if you get an email from a spamer, simply put a check mark by his name and click the "Block Mail" button (A red shield) and that emailer will be blacklisted from your account until you release him.
